  Recently, the Shandong Provincial Association for Science and Technology announced the results of the 7th Shandong Science and Technology Workers' Innovation Competition. Organized by the Shandong Provincial Association for Science and Technology and hosted by the Shandong Provincial Institute of Electronics, the Jinan Municipal Association for Science and Technology, and the Inspur Innovation Center, the event saw participation from candidates recommended by the Weifang Municipal Association for Science and Technology. After rigorous evaluation stages—including an initial review by a panel of experts, a re-review, a live final round, and public announcement—the project "Research and Application of Anti-Freezing Technology for Drainage Pipelines Along Railway Sidewalls in Cold Regions," independently developed by Shandong Sanhuali Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., was awarded second prize in the competition.


  The Weifang City Rapid Return Valve Key Laboratory is a pipeline low-temperature anti-freeze technology R&D platform established under the guidance of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. It focuses on upgrading low-temperature anti-freeze technologies for liquid pipeline and circulation systems used in industries such as manufacturing, agriculture, firefighting, urban infrastructure, and equipment manufacturing. By deeply understanding user needs and driving technological innovation, the lab has developed strong capabilities to secure national policy support, undertake research projects, and consistently deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  The laboratory collaborates with renowned domestic and international universities, research institutions, scientific organizations, and industry consortiums—leveraging China's robust domestic market advantages—to address critical, cross-cutting technologies. By fostering collaborative innovation among industry, academia, research, and application, we aim to promote open sharing of innovation resources, seamlessly connecting every key stage—from ideation and research to technology commercialization and ultimately product development. This approach continuously drives synergistic innovation across industry, academia, research, and application, accelerating the translation of scientific breakthroughs into tangible, high-quality advancements for the fluid pipeline industry, particularly in the areas of cryogenic freeze-proofing and explosion prevention.
