Functions and Characteristics

Application Range

This product could be used in residential building, schools, kindergarten, nursing homes, hospitals, fire hydrant system, public squares, private villas, enterprises, seaports, villages, livestock farms and vegetable greenhouses where the water pipe may freeze in winter. Furthermore, it could also be used in the cooling system with recycling water of the mechanical equipment to avoid pipe freezing or bursting.


Spin the handle of the antifreezing hydrant to its end in line with the “water-supply arrow”, then you can use the tap water directly. Spin the handle of the bolt to its end in line with the “water-drain arrow” or “antifreezing arrow”, turn on the tap for pipe antifreezing. In warm seasons, turn the handle of the antifreezing hydrant to “water-supply arrow”, the water faucet works normally. Notice that, in both cases, handles should be span to their ends rather than in the middle.

Installation Instructions

1. There are two types of installation, namely, inspection shaft installation (Type A) and plow-in installation (Type B).

2.The dust on the pipe and the valve should be removed before the installation.

3.The inlet water valve of the vertical antifreezing hydrant should be installed in line with the arrow direction into the main water pipe under the permafrost belt according to the depth of the permafrost. 20cm should be left below the drain-water (outlet) valve for water seepage, which could be filled with cobblestones or similar items.

4.Customers can adjust the height of h1 according to their actual height.h1的高度。

5.It is advised that a general valve should be installed before the antifreezing hydrant for the convenience of future maintenance.

Installation Precautions

1)Before its installation, the antifreezing hydrant should be placed in cool and open area, avoiding direct exposure under the sun and staying away from the ozone area.

2)Make sure the arrow direction on antifreezing hydrant is in line with the inlet water during the installation.

3)Do not install the antifreezing hydrant into the non-water pipeline.

4)Please test the water flowing, sealing or draining before the installation by following the users’ instruction. Namely, in normal condition, the water flushes when you turn on the tap, and you can sense adsorption when you put your hand near the mouth of the tap for drainage.

5)Do not dismantle and assemble the antifreezing hydrant without authoritative permission, or it may incur water leaking and the accident.
