Connect the water supply end of the freeze protector to the inlet branch pipe according to the protector's markings, and then attach the inlet pipe of the freeze protector to the building entry point. For single-story homes, install the water meter on the indoor riser pipe, ideally positioning it vertically. When installing the freeze protector in a multi-story building’s pipe shaft, connect the user’s water meter after the freeze protector, ensuring that the inlet-side connection of the meter is directed toward the various water usage points inside the home.
An automatic breather valve must be installed at the highest point of the horizontal piping inside the user’s premises. If an automatic breather valve is not installed and antifreeze protection is required, first press the antifreeze button, then make sure to open all faucets connected to water outlets completely. Before using water, close all faucets again before pressing the water-use button to resume normal water flow. If an automatic breather valve is already installed, there’s no need to manually turn individual faucets on or off.
Install the controller on a suitable indoor wall surface, and connect each wire end to the corresponding terminals on the controller according to the instructions.
